A Warm Welcome to the School Year!

Dear New Horizons High School Community, 

We are excited to welcome everyone to New Horizons High School! Together, we step into the year with renewed energy and a shared commitment to our mission and vision. 

Our Vision: Reignite the flames of hope. 
Our Mission: At NHHS, we inspire growth in a supportive, personalized environment, where every student can thrive, build positive relationships, and achieve success in college, careers, and beyond. 

As a staff, our greatest desire is to help students feel connected, supported, and prepared for their future. We know that hope and belonging are the foundation for success, and every member of our team is committed to creating an environment where students are encouraged to grow and achieve. 

This year, we are introducing a few important updates to strengthen our learning environment: 

• Personal Electronic Devices (PEDs): To support learning and minimize distractions, students are asked to keep PEDs in their backpack or in the teacher’s designated location during instructional time. 

• Lunch Campus Access: NHHS will remain a closed campus for lunch. However, students who are passing their classes will have the opportunity to earn off-campus lunch privileges. 

As we move forward, our focus will remain grounded in our four guiding qualities:

• Safety 

• Excellence 

With these values at the center of our work, and with our dedicated staff and supportive community, we are confident this will be a year filled with growth, achievement, and hope.
